Llanteglos Estate consists of a Victorian-era main house with a number of holiday lodges in the grounds of the old Orchard and gardens. Our eight Woodland Lodges have been very carefully designed to maximise the enjoyment of the rural scenery, the bedrooms and bathroom being at ground level and the living area with balcony on the floor above. They are built in a staggered terrace arrangement and each balcony is south-facing and completely private from the other lodges. This year, all the kitchens have had new units fitted and the bathrooms completely replaced. Each lodge comprises: - Double bedroom Twin-bedded room (and one has bunk beds + a single bed so can sleep 3 people) Bathroom with bath & electric shower Stairs to open-plan living area on top floor Kitchen - fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, pots/pans, crockery & cutlery, dining area Living area with colour television/digital box Sliding glass doors to balcony Parking space directly in front of lodge and additional parking for further vehicles, trailers or boats elsewhere on site Behind the lodges there is a children's play area and pastureland (great for exercising dogs). Pets are welcome by arrangement. Elsewhere on site is our licensed clubhouse "The Wanderer's Rest Inn" which is open nightly during the high season and serves evening meals. At other times of the year, it is open at weekends and sometimes other days when there are lots of people on the site (Easter, festive season, half-terms etc.) Other amenities include: - Tennis Court Laundry Tourist Information Please note we also do Bed and Breakfast - our Garden Lodge guest facility has 5 ensuite guest rooms (Family room with double+single+cot, 3 x doubles & l single room. Llanteglos Estate is well located for many visitor attractions both in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. We border the famous Pembrokeshire National Coastal Park (the only coastal national park in the UK) with its 186 mile coastal trail around the county. Amroth, just down the hill from Llanteglos, is at the beginning (or end!) of this trail. Amroth boasts a beautiful mile-long golden sandy beach with a very long tidal range. Along the sea front are several pubs and restaurants, gift shops and general stores. Other nearby attractions and activities include: - Many other wonderful beaches all round the coast, some of them ideal for surfing Castles such as Carew, Pembroke, Picton Parks/Nature Reserves such as Scolton Manor and Begelly Oakwood Theme Park Folly Farm - especially popular with younger children National Botanical Gardens Tenby (just 8 miles away) - stunning beaches,& a thriving hub of activity by day and night Caldey Island and many other islands with boat trips to see the wildlife (dolphins, seals, many different types of birds) St Davids cathedral (absolutely amazing!)
