This property has been enjoyed by visitors for the past 5 years, with many repeat visits. It is located at the edge of Goodwick village and allows immediate access to the public woods and countryside and yet is just 10 minutes from the beaches of Fishguard Bay. It is a short 5 minute taxi ride from Fishguard harbour for those planning to arrive by train. A car would be useful to get to those 'out of the way' treasure coves, and other attractions in the are, designed for both children and adults, but the local bus service meets most needs and the nearest stop is only 50 metres away from the property.
The bungalow has everything a family needs for that perfect "Get away from it all" holiday. You needn't bring any towels or bedding. (Please bring your own Beach Towels).
The rear large garden terrace provides the ideal BBQ or picnic area for the whole family, with an electric barbeque, but there is so much to do and see in this very special part of the UK, it is unlikely you will spend much time in the house.
Whether your thing is fishing, swimming, sailing, horse riding, golf or indoor activities, it's all here waiting for you.
There are some exquisite restaurants around the area, some in the town, some in tiny coves or close to vast sandy beaches. Eight miles away in Letterston, you will find the award winning Fish & Chip restaurant.
A visit to the Emerald Isle is easily undertaken from here - with the ferry terminal to Ireland just 15 minutes walk away.
The unique beauty of Britain's only Coastal National Park will take your breath. There is a special dedicated bus service to drop you off in one place and pick you up at another along the Coastal Path, and you will find ample "replenishment" stops in all of the charming coves along the route.
