You'll find a warm welcome at Dyfiview B&B - and stunning views over the Dovey Valley towards the hills of Southern Snowdonia and The Cambrian Mountains. Dyfiview offers comfortable, spacious and modern accommodation within easy walking distance of the centre of the historic town of Machynlleth, which stands on the southern boundary of the Snowdonia National Park. There is easy access to a range of local attractions including the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT). The sandy beaches at Aberdovey are only about 9 miles away and the whole area offers wonderful walking and cycling country far away from the crowds. All our rooms have en-suite facilities, hotel-quality beds, hospitality trays, flat-screen TVs with Freeview and DVD players, hairdryers and Wifi. Rooms formats available include a super king-sized double, or twin, or shared (up to 4 persons) and a standard double. Delicious traditional breakfasts are served catering for most dietary needs, including a separate breakfast menu for vegetarians and vegans as a speciality. The dining room, guests' lounge area and bar (non-alcoholic) overlook a panoramic view of the Dyfi valley and the local hills. Dyfiview is only 5 minutes walk from Machynlleth railway station, which is on the national rail network. There are good rail services to Aberystwyth and up the Cambrian Coast Line to numerous coastal resorts, Portmeirion, and the Talyllyn and Festiniog narrow gauge steam railways. Special facilities are provided for walkers and cyclists including drying area, secure bike storage and pressure wash. Maps and advice on local walks are also available. We support public transport and offer assistance to rail/bus travellers and walkers/cyclists and those visiting the CAT or on Glyndwr's Way. MACHYNLLETH |
