The cottage offers very comfortable accommodation being furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. It has a new luxury fitted kitchen, total control electric central heating and double glazing, and is well insulated – making the cottage warm and cosy in winter, and light and airy in summer. The bright, spacious sitting room is equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, an extensive library of books, guidebooks, DVDs, games and information about many of the fantastic walks and other local attractions. The generous dining area looks out to the trees at the rear of the cottage, with lots of activity around the bird feeders – enjoy watching the birds feeding while you have your breakfast! The spacious new luxury fitted kitchen kitchen is furnished to a high standard with fridge/freezer, washer/tumble dryer, dishwasher, double oven, grill and ceramic hob and microwave, along with an extensive range of other kitchen equipment and a full range of crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and utensils. The two bedrooms are comfortably furnished, one has a king-sized double bed and the other has two single beds. All of the beds are fitted with electric blankets, and all the bed linen is provided, along with bath, hand and tea towels. The bedroom windows offer wide landscape views over the village and the 9-hole Balvicar golf course to the surrounding countryside and hills. The upstairs bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath with shower over, a bidet, toilet and basin. There is also a second toilet and basin downstairs. The South-West facing garden is equipped with garden bench, table and chairs and can be a real suntrap with spectacular sunsets. Roadside parking is available adjacent to the cottage. A cot, high chair and stair gate are all available on request free of charge. We will be here to give you a personal welcome and to do whatever we can to help you enjoy your holiday. For the benefit of our overseas guests, one of us speaks French and German. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge. On your arrival, to help you relax and unwind, you will find a welcome tray with home baking, along with a complimentary bottle of wine and free-range Balvicar eggs!
