Rannoch Lodge Holiday Cottages: Four delightful cottages at the head of Loch Rannoch

Rannoch Lodge Holiday Cottages lie in the grounds of Rannoch Lodge, a historic hunting  lodge situated at the very head of Loch Rannoch.   The Lodge enjoys a magnificent view down 11 miles of loch towards the mountain Schiehallion.   The cottages are arranged in two pairs, as follows: The Coach House and the Ghillie's Cottage are situated near the main house.   They are within sight of, but do not overlook, each other.   They are approximately 200 yards apart.   They have a changeover day of Saturday.   The Coach House sleeps  4 in two twin-bedded rooms and the Ghillie's Cottage sleeps 6 in a double room, a twin-bedded room and room containing 2 adult-sized bunk beds.   There is a maximum sleeping capacity of 10 for these two cottages.   The Ghillie's Cottage has the best view of all our cottages. The Gamekeeper's House and the Ploughman's Cottage are some 600 or 700 yards away from Rannoch Lodge.   Again, they are approximately 200 yards apart with the car park in between them.    These two cottages have a changeover day of Friday.   The Gamekeeper's House sleeps 6 in one double room on the ground floor and two twin-bedded rooms upstairs and the Ploughman's Cottage sleeps 5 in a double room, a twin-bedded room and a single room.   The Ploughman's Cottage can accommodate one extra person using an Orkney, or box, bed in an alcove off the dining room.   The maximum sleeping capacity of these two cottages is therefore 12.   The maximum sleeping capacity of all four of our cottages is therefore 22.
