Rosebud Cottage is a charming 19th Century dream cottage in the quiet village of Wombleton and in the heart of rural North Yorkshire. The cottage, which benefits from gas central heating, retains its oak beamed ceilings and open fire and is furnished and maintained to a very high standard.

The two bedroomed accommodation (one double and one twin) also provides lounge, dining kitchen with breakfast bar and luxury bathroom with bath, shower attachment and toilet. There are all the usual items expected in a luxury cottage - electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, colour TV with satellite, radio/CD player, duvets, blankets, patio set and barbeque, payphone. All linen and towels are provided.  The property provides parking for two cars.

To maintain the quality of the accommodation we do not permit smoking or accept pets in the cottage

Local attractions include the market towns of Pickering, Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside. The North York Moors National Park and Steam Railway, the historic city of York and traditional seaside resorts of Scarborough and Whitby are all within one hours drive.

To find Rosebud Cottage: From the A170 Helmsley to Pickering Road approximately 3 miles from Helmsley and 2 miles from Kirkbymoorside you will see a sign marked Wombleton. Take the turn and follow the road until you reach the Plough Inn. Just before the Inn take the left turn and the cottage is 50 meters on the right.
