Chestnut is a large cottage built of local stone with generous space to accommodate 10-14 people. in 1 ground floor bedroom and 4 first floor bedrooms plus sofa bed. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. Chestnut overlooks a well-kept lawn, (ideal for picnics or football) across the lakes and fields of the 17-acre Sherrill Farm estate.
The ground floor of the cottage features:
A good-sized Lounge with French doors to patio and lawns with flatscreen TV, Freeview, DVD-player, books, board games and free WiFi.
A large fully equipped kitchen/dining area with double sofa bed. The kitchen facilities include dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, fridge freezer, toaster and microwave.
One double bedroom with wet room and toilet making it suitable for less able bodied guests.
On the first floor are 4 bedrooms:
One 5ft double with additional single bed (for child) and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin,
One 5ft double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin.
One bedroom with 3 single beds and en-suite shower room with toilet and basin,
One twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, toilet and basin.
A cot and travel cot can be provided for infants if required.
The lounge features a double-sided woodburning stove in addition to central heating throughout the cottage. The first basket of fuel for stove is included in the price.
There is ample safe parking at Sherrill Farm including spaces outside the cottage. To the rea of the cottage is a large terrace and lawn that gently slopes down towards the lakes (accessed by a gate in the fence). Picnic tables, a parasol and a BBQ are included.
Sherrill Farm has plenty of leisure facilities to entertain guests whatever the weather including a large indoor heated pool, games barn, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, well-stocked fishing lakes, a tennis court, childrens play area and plenty of walks and picnic spots around the farm.
