Bury Tower House is a renovated Georgian detached home lovingly restored to its original former glory, situated in the Portsmouth area of Hampshire being an ideal base for either sailing, a beach holiday with two local beaches or for exploring the Hampshire countryside. Short breaks are available all year round, as well as weekly and longer lets.

Bury Tower House has six double bedrooms, four bathrooms and a separate cloakroom. One of the bedrooms and shower room are located on the ground floor which has proved popular with our guests with limited mobility who can appreciate not having to go up and down the stairs!

As all the double bedrooms are very spacious with guests having the choice of either a king double bed or bedrooms set up as twins, triples or even four singles if required, accommodating up to 16 in beds to suit whichever set up you wish to have. There is also a double sofa bed in a snug area on the ground floor.

There is off road parking at the rear of the property for up to 6 cars with room for a boat & trailer as well.

We can provide travel cots, high chairs and a stair gate on request if required by family bookings.

The ground floor is bright and airy with oak flooring fitted, and newly fitted carpets upstairs. The house has a fully fitted modern kitchen that includes a Neff oven and a large 5 burner ceramic hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge/ freezer. An additional fridge freezer in the utility/laundry room which has a convenient door leading out to the rear garden hence allowing both ease of laundry drying and the shedding of wet and dirty sports/sailing gear!

The dining room, living room and downstairs bedroom have french doors leading out onto the large walled and secluded front and rears gardens, perfect to sit out on a summers evening.

The dining room has plenty of space to accommodate large groups to dine in comfort for 16.

The sitting room has a working period fireplace and comfortable sofas giving ample room to relax, watch TV, play games or just sit and chat and in the winter to enjoy the lovely real fire with a TV also in the dining room.
