The cottage at Cwmcile Farm is 300yrs old and has a wonderful history concerning the Rebecca Riots, where in 1843 Captain John Napier, the Chief Constable of Glamorgan was assaulted by the Morgan family as farmers protested about the toll gate charges, when carting lime to the hill farms. Ty Rebecca is a traditional cottage set in the grounds of a working farm, with 3 bedrooms sleeping a total of 5-6 guests. It has antique furniture pieces and gas central heating, plus a log burner which gives a glowing atmosphere, with the logs supplied free of charge. Its location makes it ideal for city shopping and beaches, with Mumbles and Caswell being particularly ideal for families. Fishing is available at the lower LLiw Reservoir, which is also ideal for walking and cycling.
