Gower Edge is a spacious and comfortable property on the edge of the beautiful Gower Peninsula. We welcome children and pets, and the property is ideal for sharing a break with friends or family. Towels, bed linen and heating are included in the price. For further information on accessibility please see the access statement on our website. DOWNSTAIRS there are three living rooms, one of which also contains the dining table for 8. The TV room has french windows leading to an additional conservatory, which has comfortable seating and houses the tumble dryer and washing machine. The final living area contains a further TV which plays DVDs and videos (from a large selection). There are also a good selection of books, toys and games to enjoy during your visit. The kitchen has a dual fuel range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and additional breakfast seating for four, and there is an additional downstairs cloakroom with toilet and full size wash hand basin. UPSTAIRS there are four double bedrooms (1 kingsize and 3 twin), and a family bathroom with corner bath and separate shower cubicle (there is an additional toilet downstairs). OUTSIDE there is parking for three cars to the front, and an enclosed garden with a patio to the rear. Gower Edge is a non-smoking property. WHAT TO DO: As well as the beautiful Gower beaches the area is well known for walking, surfing, birdwatching, photography, climbing, horseriding, fishing, golfing and many other outdoor pursuits. If you would like to use the house for a base for touring the area, it is within an easy day trip of the Brecon Beacons, Pembrokeshire, Mid-Wales and Cardiff. The property is also close to the Wales National Pool, National Botanic Gardens of Wales, and the National Maritime Museum, and there are many castles, and reminders of the industrial heritage of the area for history enthusiasts. For teenagers LC2 offers a climbing wall and indoor surfing practice area, and for all the family attractions such as Perriswood Archery and Falconry Centre offer the chance to try out untapped skills. ABOUT US: Gower Edge was our home for 10 years until we had to move to the Midlands for work, and we hope to return to it again one day. We enjoy self-catering holidays in the UK ourselves and have tried to prepare the sort of holiday let that we would like to find on such a visit. We have tried to keep our prices competitive, and you will find various offers on our website over the next few months as we build our business. GETTING THERE: Swansea can be accessed from the M4 motorway, or if travelling from the North, you may prefer to use the M50 and A465 "Heads of the Valleys" route (which links to the M4 at Swansea).
