The Town House is a fabulous self-catering holiday house for sharing! Bala in the county of Gwynedd is located at the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park and is situated at the southern tip of the region. Mountains and lakes abound here and the coast is only 40 minutes beautiful scenic drive away, where Barmouth boasts a Blue Flag beach. Bala is the home of Llyn Tegid, Bala Lake, the largest natural lake in Wales, some 1/2 mile wide and 4 miles long, it is an ideal area to enjoy any type of holiday in Wales. Watersports are here in abundance, from white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and fishing to canyoning and windsurfing, the choices are endless. Nearby we have a high rope adventure course, paintballing, 4x4 off-roading, mountain-biking and much, much more including bushcraft survival days. This is the site of 2 annual Bala Triathlons. The narrow-gauge Bala Lake Railway runs along the quieter side of the Lake from Bala to Llanuwchllyn. The Town House is located just off Bala High Street in a small backwater, within minutes of Bala Lake on foot via the back lane, so close you can literally carry your canoe there! There are 4 bedrooms (1 ensuite) and 3 bathrooms making this an ideal house for several couples, a large family or for 2 families to share. Fully equipped and with brand new furniture, appliances and kitchen, this lovely house has just been completely refurbished to a really high standard. Plasma TV, Satellite TV and DVD in the comfy sitting room, which has a gas fired woodburner-style stove and loads of comfy seating. A dining conservatory with oak table and chairs seating 8, a small yard for barbecues and outdoor lockable storage for bikes or canoes. The kitchen is galley-style and really well equipped with crockery, glassware and quality appliances. This is all newly tiled and decorated for a fresh modern feel. On the first floor are 2 bathrooms and the master ensuite bedroom with double bed. On the 2nd floor are 3 bedrooms, a double, a twin and a bunk room with full-width bunk beds. There is a travel cot, a high chair and a stair gate for baby guests and we have a qualified nanny for guests to take some quality time out - completely guilt-free!
