Self catering accomodationOur holiday cottage faces directly south and has been converted from an old milking parlour; it has splendid views of the beautiful River Teifi, renowned for it's Salmon, Sewin and Trout fishing. One and a half miles away is the small market town of Newcastle Emlyn. Here you'll find small supermarkets, a range of pubs and restaurants, craft shops selling a range of locally produced arts and crafts, and of course the ruins of the once new (13th century) castle, A fifteen-minute drive takes you to wonderful sandy beaches and spectacular cliff top walks. From the cottage you can enjoy tranquil woodland or riverside walks, you may even spot our local badger family or see the still rare Red Kite. Whether you like activities or prefer to relax and enjoy the difference of West Wales you'll find it all close to Fforest. Newly converted this year the cottage sleeps 6. The ground floor has a comfortable double bedroom, a spacious bathroom, kitchen with dining area and separate lounge. The first floor has another double bedroom and a twin bedded room, shower, toilet and washbasin. All towels and linen are supplied, except beach towels. Central heating, electricity and logs are included. Fforest Cottage has a fully equipped modern kitchen including microwave oven and dishwasher, dining area and separate pantry with a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, washer/dryer etc. The lounge retains its beamed ceiling and natural stone walls, it is spacious with comfortable sofas, easy chairs, large screen TV, DVD, and music system, and a wood burning stove.
