No.2 Tan-y-Fedw is a 4 star Self Catering cottage sleeping up to three people in the village of Trefriw within the Snowdonia National Park and about 5 miles from the busy village of Betws-y-Coed . Trefriw is ideal if you want a quiet location with spectacular scenery. There are fields immediately opposite the house which often contain sheep. There are many walks from the cottage including the ‘Trefriw Trails’, a set of walks ranging from an all-abilities walk up to more strenuous walks to Llyn Cowlyd and beyond. There are a number of eating places in the village within walking distance and there is a village shop. The cottage is ideal either for a break for a couple, a family get-a-way or a group of friends. The cottage contains two bedrooms. The main bedroom is spacious and has a Queen sized bed OR twin beds with views to the front of the house. The second bedroom contains a single bed. Both bedrooms have wardrobes. The shower room on the first floor contains a shower cubicle with electric shower, WC and washbasin. On the ground floor there is a good sized lounge with a wood burning stove together with a colour TV and DVD player. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, together with a dining table and chairs for three people. Outside is a garden and patio with a seating area. Parking is outside the cottage on the roadside. Five stone steps lead from the gate up to the property. The garden is terraced and the terraces are unfenced so they may be unsuitable for unsupervised children. All electricity and gas is included in the price - no need for coins for a meter!
