Hafod Grove makes the perfect year-round getaway for friends and family, large group get togethers, for holidays, for celebrations and winter breaks. Offering spacious accommodation, the Hafod Grove was remodelled in the Mid 19th century by the Corby Family (Corby Gardens, South of the County are open to the public). There is a large farmhuse kitchen with aga and huge family table, 2 receptions with open fires,Six Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers, a down stairs shower room (opposite a ground floor bedroom - ideal for the elderly or semi disabled), 2 of the bedrooms have vanity units, another en suite. Bring your butler as the house has servants stairs, arched hallways and a charming dogleg main staircase with lovely woodland views. Within Walking Distance of pretty Ceibwr Bay and the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal path, Hafod Grove House is only 3 miles from two fabulous sandy beaches with rock pools and caves to explore. Located equidistant between the quaint, Market Town of Cardigan with its, shops bars, restaurants and theatre and the picturesque village of Newport with it’s galleries, cafes, yacht club and Golf Club there is plenty to do and see in the area whilst enjoying the tranquil setting of Hafod Grove. Surrounded by so much beautiful scenery,coves and caves, and the stunning rock formations at Ceibwr Bay – a well-loved beauty spot – there are frequent sightings of seals, porpoises, basking sharks, turtles and dolphins and even the occasional whale from the cliffs. A pair of rare red kite are often spotted flying over the House and the whole area abounds in rare and more familiar forms of Wildlife. There are numerous sports and activities in the local area, such as golf (two courses within 5 miles) horse-riding (own a pony day), fishing, (sea and freshwater) coasteering, rock climbing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and archery, walking the and cycling the gorgeous Gwaun Valley via Bessy's pub where beer is served by the jug, The Preselli hills are great for walking or riding; offering stunning views in every direction. There is something for everyone and do for all ages and tastes within the local area: visit Cardigan Island Farm (spot the seals), The Shire Horse Farm (bouncy castle etc) and Castell Henllys pre-historic iron age fort (spot the mammoth!) St. Dogmael's Abbey and visitors centre /cafe, Cilgerran Castell and Gorge. For the artistic enjoy the Craft Trails, Art Galleries, Shows and Exhibitions open air theatres in Summer and the Theatre Mwldan has regular performances and a multi-screen. The location is ideal for touring the three counties of Pembrokeshire, Cardiganshire and Carmarthenshire, further afield days out include a visit to St. Davids the smallest Cathedral City in Britain. Take a day trip to from the poFishguard to Ireland. Oakwood Park a huge theme park for all the family, Aberaeron a quaint seaside town with many interesting shops and restaurants.
