GLYNDWR sleeps up to 8 guests in 2 doubles (both with wash-hand basins), a twin and a single or twin bunk-bedroom*. It has a large lounge with three settees, two arm chairs, a wood-burning stove (with free wood between October and April for a fire each night) and french doors opening onto its own patio overlooking its own garden. Its dining table comfortably seats 8. The kitchen is well equipped and includes dishwasher, clothes washer, a fridge freezer, and a 8 ring gas cooker with electric grill, oven and fan oven. Glyndwr also feature 4 toilets; two with shower, one with bath. It is centrally heated and double glazed throughout.
* The twin bunk bedroom has beds 2' 6" wide and are of a design that allows the upper bed to be folded down to make a single bed, so they can be used as a twin bunk or single bed. They are loved by children, but are extremely sturdy and quite suitable for 'young at heart' adults.
FRON FAWR's guests are welcome to wander through Fron Fawr's fields and 16 acre woodland which provides a rich habitat for a wide variety of birds and animals, buzzards are common. It has its own picnic table which over looks the Preseli Hills. Fron Fawr is less than 5 miles from the sea. Much of the coastline is owned and maintained by the National Trust and the Preseli Hills and Pembrokeshire National Park are nearby.
Fron Fawr offers a Pétanque Pitch (competition sized: 15 x 4 metres) and each cottage has a set of traditional steel Boules. Pétanque is probably Britain's fastest growing game; in part because it can be so easily learned and is a game that can be enjoyed by all ages.
