A charismatic old stone mill house that has been lovingly restored. Part of the property has a self contained suite of rooms for self catering holiday accommodation for 4 people. Accommodation comprises two double bedrooms with en-suite shower room and lounge area with kitchenette which is equipped with microwave, mini cooker, toaster, and sandwich toaster, filter coffee maker, electric kettle and fridge. There are plenty of pubs/restaurants in the area with a good range of menus.New Radnor is mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086, New Radnor may be a misnomer, but it is a lovely place to visit, and peaceful too. There is a feeling here of coming upon a place perhaps lost in time. It can be very calming indeed. The mill is nestled alongside its stream at the bottom of the beautiful Harley Valley, and close to the Radnor Forest in Mid Wales. Whilst the milling of corn is no longer an active process, good use is made of the associated buildings in the form of a Welsh woodcraft workshop. We also have a shop selling Welsh hardwood crafts.Haines Mill was one of the finalists for the Welsh Tourist Board Awards in April 2002, the category being Sense of Place - and the Judges' comments were: All the shortlisted candidates deserve an award based on their individuality, warmth of welcome and how they fulfill the concept of Sense of Place. We have no hesitation in recommending them all to friends and family as a vital part of any visit to Wales. In exceptional cases the owners may give permission for extra people to occupy the premises - in this case there may be an additional charge at the owner's discretion.Customer binds and obliges himself to vacate the accommodation at the time specified (10am) on date of departure, thank you.Dogs are not to be left alone in the premises.In the following instances there may be additional charges:For breakages, loss or damage. The customer should report any deficiency which they notice on arrival and any which occurs during their stay. Where appropriate the customer could be liable to pay replacement cost of the item lost or broken.The accommodation will be clean on your arrival - please leave it in a likewise state. Thank you. The right is reserved to make a charge for additional cleaning if the accommodation has not been left reasonably clean.Dogs - customers may bring one dog free of charge.
