Greystones was built in 1832. It has been the village bank.. now the kitchen and the village telephone exchange..now the bathroom and the utility room!It is right beside the riverbank and has a lovely garden. The lounge has a DVD player and a piano as well as comfortable chairs and settee. There is one double-bed, two single beds and a smaller single bed.Glasbury is a very beautiful area and one where it is easy to relax and enjoy. The cottage is close to the Wye Valley walk .. just the other side of the bridge. The Book Festival is held usually at the end of May, first week in June. It is a Border Town and evidence of its medieval history is easy to find.Distance 4 MILES The road which can sometimes be busy, between Glasbury and Hay is fairly flat and can be cycled easily. Distance to Beach (if applicable) 55 MILES Swansea is usually less than an hour and a half's drive away with all the glorious Gower beaches close by.
