Darnley Cottage is a 150 year old oak-beamed character cottage in the canalside village of Pencelli, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The accommodation sleeps 4, with 1 double and 1 twin bedroom - a travel cot and high chair are available for baby.

The oak-beamed lounge/dining room is very comfortable and the fully-equipped kitchen, with breakfast room, provides everything needed for self-catering.

With a private, secure cottage garden, the property is suitable for families and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Outside, there is secure storage for cycles if required.

The village pub is within easy walking distance of the cottage and there are many other good places to eat in the area.

A local shop and Post Office is available in Talybont-on-Usk (2 miles), whilst the main shops and facilities are in Brecon town (4 miles).

With the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal running through the village, Pencelli is a charming and convenient location for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park
