The picturesque Groe alongside the Wye offers tennis courts, a bowling green, a putting course, a covered swimming pool, a dog free playing area for children or the opportunity to indulge in some of the loveliest walks or cycle rides imaginable. Entertainment at the Wyeside Arts Centre includes a cinema, as well as exciting and varied live shows. There are numerous cafes, pubs and hotels, both within Builth and the surrounding area, offering a variety of delicious menus. The hills and countryside surrounding Builth are an ornithologist’s dream: the excitement of observing the Red Kite and other rare birds is an experience never to be forgotten.
