This splendid semi-detached self-catering cottage that is near Lampeter, Ceredigion has been sympathetically converted from a former barn. The cottage offers 5 Star luxury accommodation for all seasons with attention to detail.

The cottage is situated in over 210 acres of green rolling hills on a working farm in the centre of Red Kite country in Mid Wales.  It is beautifully furnished and has magnificent long distance views over the stunning Cambrian Mountains making it an excellent base for touring, cycling, bird-watching, walking and fishing. Located just 3 miles from the small market and university town of Lampeter for good shops, great pubs, fine restaurants and amenities. Only 12 miles away to the beautiful Cardigan coast where dolphins can be seen. Golf, pony trekking, cycling, sailing, fishing are all available nearby. Fantastic scenery, abundance of wildlife and wonderful walks right on the doorstep with numerous attractions only a short drive away.

There is a Local pub with restaurant that is within a short walking distance, other restaurants also available locally. The University town of Lampeter 3 miles away where shops, pubs, restaurants, chemist, post-office, leisure center, can be found.

Our 5 Star holiday cottage accommodation is very well equipped and beautifully presented. There is a Large lounge with a woodburning stove, colour wide screen digital TV, DVD player, video, radio, stereo/CD player, fully fitted kitchen/dining room with tiled floor, cooker with hob, microwave, dishwasher, and a fridge. There is a utility room with toilet and basin, washer/dryer, deep freeze and ironing facilities. First Floor: There is a bathroom with shower over two person jacuzzi double-ended bath, toilet and basin, 3 bedrooms: 1 double with a four poster bed, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 single room (with pull out bed if required) Balcony off main bedroom with outstanding views over the beautiful countryside.

A video library, selection of board games, books and magazines are all available to keep all amused. A welcome basket awaits you on arrival. For the benefit of all our guests a complete non-smoking policy is adopted inside the farmhouse and the cottage.

The cottage possesses central heating as well as a wood burning stove for those cosy winter evenings, for which fuel is supplied. All the Beds are made up for your arrival, luxury cotton towels (excluding beach towels), adult robes and sensory "Out of Eden" toiletries. A welcome hamper also awaits your arrival and is included in the rent.

There is plenty of room for storing of cycles and fishing tackle and Off road parking for up to 3 cars. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs by prior arrangement. Outside there is a decked patio that has garden furniture and barbecue (gas supplied) for chilling out with a glass of wine.

Swings, slide, basketball and sandpit to amuse the children while parents sit back and relax. Children can if they wish help with feeding of chickens and collecting of eggs daily.  Lambing season February to early April, see the newly born lambs and help with feeding if you like, kids love it. (Book early to avoid disappointment).

Visit Aberaeron, a pretty Georgian resort famous for its dolphins and seals, which is 12 miles away. Beautiful beaches along the Cardigan Bay Coast, great for bird watching, cycling and long walks. Fishing, golf, pony trekking, swimming pool are all available nearby. Red Kites are regularly spotted from the cottage. Discover the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains and the lakes of Central Wales. Brecon Beacons, National Botanic Gardens and Aberglasney, Devils Bridge, Tregaron Nature Reserve, Pumsaint Gold Mines and Folly Farm are just a few ideal places to visit. Children love to visit the Honey Farm near Aberaeron.

For the very energetic there are excellent family and advanced MTB cycle tracks at Brechfa Forest approx. 10 miles away. Quad Biking, Coasteering, White Water Canoeing, Kayaking, dry ski-slope and boarding all within easy driving distance.
