The cottage is the middle one of three, all dating back around 150 years, and has recently been re-furbished to a high standard offering couples and families the opportunity to relax in a glorious part of England and explore West Cumbria and the Lake District.
The cottage is located in The Green, a small and quiet hamlet situated centrally between Broughton-in-Furness and Millom. This south west corner of Cumbria is ideal for exploring Cumbria's glorious west coast, including places like Muncaster, Seascale, Waberthwaite, Ravenglass, St Bees, Whitehaven to the North, Barrow In Furness to the South and the quieter and more peaceful areas of the Lake District such as The Duddon Valley, Black Coombe, Wastwater and Ennerdale.
The cottage sits right at the heart of the hamlet, 50m from the village pub, 'The Punch Bowl', serving somegreat local beers, including those national award-winning real ales made in the village at the micro-brewery, some 200m away. Although close by you are never disturbed by the pub and indeed the gently running water from the beck, 20m away, may well be the only noise you hear. Over the village 'triangle' is the Community Centre, often the focus of village events, which has a football field and small play area with swings etc for children.
The location is also convenient for some glorious beaches with not an amusement arcade in sight, easy-to-reach beaches such as Haverigg and Silecroft offer couples and families stunning views with glorious sands. Come to the area to relax, walk,
