Delightful modernised self-catering cottage in the village of Habost close by the picturesque Port of Ness. The property has been recently decorated and refurnished to a high standard and with the use of the futon in the living room comfortably sleeps six adults - a cot and high chair can be provided.There is a good sized garden to the front and a large drying area at the rear. Facilities close by include :- Restaurant and Bar, Post Office, Petrol Station, General Store, Tea Rooms. The town of Stornoway is a forty minute easy drive away and there is also an hourly bus service. Stornoway itself is a bustling fishing port with good shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Getting to the Western Isles has never been easier with regular flights and ferries from mainland Scotland. Activities around the island are endless; dolphin and whale watching, go-karting, fishing, bird watching, climbing, walking, golf and surfing to name a few. You can be sure of a friendly welcome from the the people of Lewis who do enjoy a chat - or "bleather" as they prefer to call it - and are always willing to help with local information.
