A spacious first-floor apartment in a listed country house with views over the Firth of Clyde. Unsuitable for the disabled and young children. Double bedroom with double/twin beds and sitting room with sofa bed. Easy access to Glasgow and Prestwick airports. The East Wing is the former guest wing of Noddsdale House and was converted in the 1920s from farm out buildings. The result is a charming holiday home which exudes character. The pitched wooden ceiling in the sitting room is most attractive and gives much pleasure to our visitors. Noddsdale is a family run estate two miles from the centre of Largs. The East Wing is an ideal base from which to explore the various islands, castles, gardens and golf courses, all of which are easily accessible either by land or sea. The self-contained accommodation can take up to four people, although it is ideal for two. We welcome children 10 years and over, but regret that it is not suitable for disabled due to access by a flight of ten steps. New for 2008 is WiFi enabling those with a laptop to bring it and access the internet. Otherwise there is some internet access in Largs.
