Campsie Outdoors is located in the beautiful, rolling Campsie Hills just 40 minutes North of Glasgow. We offer superb, luxury 2 bedroom holiday lodges with en suite in master bedroom, French doors from lounge and master bedroom to the outside decking area. Fully fitted with all appliances, and built using only the finest timbers grown in the North of Scotland. 

On site there is a Visitor Centre/Tearoom, Hillwalking and Country Shop. Birds of Prey on display. Fishing Tackle. Coarse fishing available on local Forth and Clyde Canal. 

Local Attractions

The Falkirk Wheel

• The Falkirk wheel was built as part of the Millenium Project to re-establish a link between the Forth and Clyde Canals.
• It is a marvel of 21st century engineering and was designed to replace a series of lock gates that were built in the 19th century.
• The wheel is only 40 minutes from our centre by car.

Glasgow Science Centre

Situated on the south bank of the River Clyde, the science centre is a superb day out for both adults and kids. The centre contains loads of exhibits that astound you and bewilder you!!!

The centre is well served by public transport, details of which can be obtained from our outdoor centre staff. 

Stirling Castle

Some say that the castle is the grandest in Scotland. The area around the castle has been the set for many famous battles including the battle of Stirling Bridge and the battle of Bannockburn. More information is available from our visitor centre.  

Walks

Short and long walks through the beautiful Scottish country are available from Campsie Outdoors. There is a long distance walk to Glenmore Lodge, Cairngorms, Aviemore, called the Caledonian Way. Also outdoor activity challenges throughout the year.

Visitor centre

Our comprehensive Visitor Centre offers a variety of information and services on activities in and around local area.

The Centre is equipped with a Specialist shop, stocking a range of top brand outdoor clothing from, The North Face, Lowe Alpine and Mountain Technology. Fishing tackle and accessories is also sold in the shop along with rods, arts and crafts.
