Originally an 18th Century game keepers cottage, Kilmichael Cottage is a warm and welcoming retreat set in it's own large enclosed garden, with open views of the stunning Kilmichael Glen. The cottage is in a quiet yet not isolated location at the edge of the forestry village of Kilmichael Glassary. Known as Scotland's "secret", Mid Argyll is abundant in wildlife and with an impressive network of walks and cycle routes and easy access to the islands of the western seaboard, Kilmichael is a perfect base from which to enjoy some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery. Set within the magical Kilmartin Glen with it's 5000 year old standing stones and Dunadd, the ancient seat of the Kingdom of Scotland where Kings were made, there's also wealth of history to explore. Kilmichael Cottage has the charm of a traditional property with all modern conveniences to ensure a comfortable and restful stay. A true home from home, it is beautifully appointed and well equipped with generous sized accomodation. The cottage has two bedrooms, one master with en-suite (double sized shower) and one twin, dining hall, lounge, dining kitchen and one further bathroom. All the accomodation is on one level. Patio doors open from the lounge to allow you to enjoy the garden to it's maximum and there is a delightful and secluded picnic area with barbeque. We offer an "Off Season" 2 centre holiday over 7 nights at Kilmichael Cottage and Tigh Na Beithe Cottage in Killin OR Heatherlyn Cottage in Callander. Two centre holidays over 14 nights or more are available all year round.
