Within 5 miles of your holiday lodge there are Golden Eagles, Chough, Peregrine Falcons, a major Atlantic Grey seal colony, Wlid Goats, otters and a very beautiful range of flora. Also sea and loch fishing, 18 hole golf course, boat trips, beautiful sandy beaches. Outstanding archaeological remains, dramatic scenery, safe bathing and excellent rambling.
With barely 100 inhabitants, the 20 square miles of Colonsay and Oronsay comprise the most isolated comunity in Great Britain, yet modern car-ferries provide almost daily communication with Oban (2 hour crossing), little more than 100 miles north of Glasgow.
Isle of Colonsay Lodges provide comfortable and inexpensive accommodation close to the harbour and all services. They are fully equipped for 2 - 5 guests and all bedlinen and towels are provided. Available for any length of stay, based upon Sunday, Wednesday of Friday arrival and departure.
