Feochan is the first-floor apartment and sleeps up to six persons in three bedrooms although it is still quite cosy and not too big to accommodate just a couple wanting to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and tranquility. The views from this apartment are magnificent looking down the glen over the loch.
Fishing is free to all our guests including the use of the boat. Fishing is for brown trout, sea trout and salmon. Bring your own gear but we are always pleased to advise the best places to fish.
There is a large kitchen/dining room which is fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave,coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc and all the cooking equipment, cutlery and china that you require. You only need to bring your food! There is a night store heater to keep the kitchen warm in the cooler times of year. The picture shows just one corner of the kitchen.
Next to the kitchen is the cosy sitting room. A gas-fired stove keeps the room warm on cool evenings and you can curl up with a book in the large and comfortable arm chairs with a view looking down the glen across the loch. There is colour television and DVD player. Bring your own DVD's or rent them in Oban.Also there is a cd/cassette radio with a small selection of Cd's that may or may not be to your taste so bring some of your own just in case! There is always a selection of magazines, books and puzzles just in case you are stuck indoors on a rainy day - and it does rain here occasionally.
There are three bedrooms. One is a double, one a twin room and one a small room with a pair of full-size, well-built bunk beds. The bathroom has a large original Victorian bath and there is a plentiful supply of hot water. The bathroom has a heated towel-rail and there is a separate heater for the winter months. There is a separate toilet with wash-hand basin.
