Bragleenbeg is an old hunting lodge built in the early 1800's and stands at the head of Loch Scammadale amongst the mountains and overlooking the loch. Only twenty minutes from Oban, it is ideally situation for Highland holidays. Ferries run daily from Oban to Mull and the Outer Isles and there are many historic and scenic attractions within easy reach including Glencoe and Inveraray. Set in mountain and farmland, the house is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wildlife including foxes, otters, badgers, mink and wildcats. There are many birds in the glen and golden eagles, buzzards and herons have been sighted. The area is also excellent walking country.
Two self-contained apartments, Feochan sleeping up to 6 persons and Fineglen sleeping up to 9, have been created for holiday letting. Both apartments are accessed by the same staircase and therefore can be let together to sleep up to 15.
