A delightful converted former croft, only an hours scenic drive from Inverness, with stunning views over local countryside and the River Oykel. Centrally situated we are only a 40 minute drive from both the east and west coast, making it an ideal touring base of the Highlands. Surrounding the cottage are many walks, cycle routes, fishing opportunities and stunning scenery.
Sit back and relax in our spacious sun lounge and enjoy the wealth of birds and wildlife in our lovely garden and in the surrounding area. With a well stocked newly fitted kitchen, two bathrooms and three bedrooms (two doubles and one bunk) it is large enough for a family holiday, but is still small enough for a romantic break for two ( we have already had two honeymoons here). In our cosy beamed lounge there are books, games, video's / DVD's and CD's to be enjoyed in front of the log fire. In the kitchen there is a wealth of local information for your stay with Tourist Information leaflets, maps and local guides.
With towels and bed linen provided, underfloor central heating and situated in a small village with shop, Post Office and pub it makes an ideal holiday spot at any time of the year. With stunning views, wildlife around every corner and lots to see and do, Sutherland described as "the last great wilderness" in Europe, is a place not to be missed. We would like to welcome you to our Highland hideaway, a place that feels like home when you walk through the door.
