A recently renovated and refurbished cottage situated just two miles from the coastal village of Portmahomack. The property has stunning views over both the Dornoch and Moray Firths, as well as across the surrounding farmland to the mountains beyond.

The cottage comfortably accommodates 5 people. There is one double bedroom with 5ft bed and one triple bedroom with three single beds. The upstairs bathroom has a corner bath with seat with electric shower above.

Downstairs there is a comfortable open-plan living/ dining area with open fire, colour TV with Freeview, video and DVD player and a CD/tape player.

The separate fully-fitted modern kitchen has electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer.

The oil-fired boiler provides hot water and full central heating to all main rooms. All fuel and electricity is included in the weekly rent.

The cottage has been awarded a 3-star self-catering award from VisitScotland (Scottish Tourist Board).

Outside there is an area of garden from which to enjoy the panoramic views. The Moray Firth coastline is approximately half a mile from the cottage along a private farm track.   There are numerous scenic walks along the coast.

This area of the Highlands is renowned for its low rainfall and offers an array of leisure activities such as golf, sailing and fishing, bird-watching, dolphin and seal watching,  walking and following the Whisky Trail!

The nearby village of Portmahomack has an excellent sandy beach and harbour, two pub/hotels and a restaurant, a shop/Post Office, the Tarbat Discovery Centre museum and a 9-hole golf course.

Further afield, 18-hole golf courses can be found at Tain, Bonar Bridge and Royal Dornoch.

The Highland capital of Inverness is approximately 40 miles by car and offers shops, restaurants, cinemas and the Eden Court Theatre.
