Rannoch Cottage is a luxury self -catering cottage set on a working farm in Lochaber. Spacious, beautifully furnished and lavishly equipped, Rannoch is the perfect base for exploring the area. On our 175 acre farm we have many friendly, well-socialised animals including horses, goats, chickens, ducks, cows, dogs and sheep. children will love to pet and feed the animals and of course collect their own eggs for breakfast. surrounding the farm are thousands of acres of unspoilt countryside, resulting in breath-taking views of fields, mountains, trees, glens and rivers. There is no shortage of activities on the farm and in the surrounding area, famous for being the location of Ben Nevis, Loch Ness, the Commando Memorial and lots lots more. Horse-riding, hiking, skiing, watersports and bird watching are but a few of the many pastimes available locally. We provide maps for farm walks and recommendations for interesting local excursions. Guests have the opportunity to make full use of our fishing rights on the River Spean at no additional cost. After a full day exploring, Rannoch is the ideal retreat. Cosy log fires and a range of board games, playing cards, books and magazines will complete a perfect day. Alternatively, enjoy sky television, or watch one of the 250 videos and DVDs we provide free to view, from childrens classics to new releases, there is something to entertain everyone. Our farm is our home so we are always available to advise you on how to make the most of your time here. It matters to us that your holiday will be a wonderful West Highland experience.
