The Treehouse is quite unique, and although surrounded by trees, is elevated to maximise the views. The lodge is only a few minutes walk away from local shops, yet the setting is so peaceful that often the only sound is that of birds singing or the steam train puffing past. There are 3 bedrooms with ample storage. The double room has a super-king size bed, ample storage, TV. The twin bedroom has 2 single beds and ample storage. The bunk room has wooden bunks, and there is a 'high sleeper' with a single bed on top, and a sofa underneath. This room also has a TV and DVD/CD/video player. A large high level deck really does make you feel as if you are in a treehouse. Perfect for 'al fresco' dining or watching the red squirrels and birds. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier, fridge freezer, double oven and hob, microwave, food processor, toaster, etc., and a table which seats 7. (One of our guests described it as 'the best kitchen in a holiday house ever!') The living room is open plan, and very spacious and welcoming. It has a superb log burning fire, and great views over Boat of Garten Golf Course to the Cairngorm Mountains. There is also a large dining table here, which seats at least 8 people. There is a TV, DVD and video player, and also a stereo system. We also have a wide selection of DVDs, videos, CDs, jigsaws, board games, and books - both novels and reference books. We also have a cupboard specially for children, with games, books, crayons, etc. Boat of Garten is a charming scenic village, and an ideal setting for either a relaxing break, or as a base for all Spey Valley activities.
