Glencoe Hideaway is a 150 year old crofters cottage, recently refurbished, overlooking Loch Leven to hills of Callart, Mamores and beyond. Fort William 13 miles. cottage is just off A82 Glasgow-Fort William road at Glencoe. Sleeps 4-6, off street parking, large enclosed garden with furniture, dogs welcome. Very cosy, crammed with character, open fire, TV, DVD with small DVD library, CD/radio with growing CD and book library, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine. Porch is used as a drying room - useful for wet weather! One double room, one twin bedroom with ladder handrail and balcony rail leading to a mezzanine level with double mattress on floor for extra sleeping (like Heidi's hayloft!) Sofa bed also available in lounge. Lounge is on the first floor as this has the best view of the loch. Kitchen is open plan with the dining/sitting room that has the multi fuel burner, laid ready to light for your arrival, very cosy after all your activities during the day! All power for lighting, heating etc and bed linen and towels included in hire.

Fantastic location for walking, wildlife and bird watching. West Highland Way easy access. Ben Nevis 20 minutes drive. Nevis Range Gondola open all year (skiing in winter). Glencoe Skiing centre and chairlift 15/20 minutes drive. Ferries for Island exploring easy distance at Oban. Trips to skye and Kintail easy distance form here. Outdoor Activity Centre and Ice Factor Indoor Climbing Centre both nearby. Golf course 5 minutes drive at Ballachulish. Shops and pubs are within walking distance at Glencoe and Ballachulish. Good restaurants to choose from locally. Boat hire and whale/seal watching trips at boat centre 5 minutes away. Bike hire and good mountain bike trails locally. Steam Railway Fort William to Mallaig - see where Hogwarts Express sequences were shot for Harry Potter films. Visit Glencoe Centre and local museum to enjoy an area steeped in history.
