This luxuriously appointed house, conveniently situated at the heart of the island on the outskirts of the capital of Portree, offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to six adults/children plus a baby and is available for weekly self-catering holiday rentals from Saturday to Saturday throughout the year.

'Aite Taimh' is a modern, detached bungalow built in 1998 to a very high specification, thus deserving of its 4 star rating by the Scottish Tourist Board and making it an ideal base for your holiday with all the comforts of home.

Set in a beautiful, secluded and peaceful location at the lochside, with the Isle of Skye's capital Portree is less than three miles away, you are no more than a half hour away from many of Skye's most popular attractions, including Trotternish, the Cuillins, Dunvegan and Waternish.

'Aite Taimh' is situated in the crofting community of Heatherfield and is conveniently located less than 3 miles from the centre of Portree. 

Idyllically positioned on the seashore with tranquil and panoramic views, 'Aite Taimh' sits on croftland that has been in the family for many generations.

Accommodation is all on the ground floor and comprises: Lounge, Sun Porch, Dining Area, fitted Kitchen, 2 Double Bedrooms, 1 Twin Bedroom, fully tiled Bathroom, Toilet and even a Games Room. 

At the heart of the house is the very spacious Lounge, with a feature bay window overlooking Loch Portree and sumptuous sofas providing all the comforts of home. 

You'll find also the modern Kitchen / Dining Area is equipped with everything you require to make your stay most enjoyable.

 'Aite-Taimh' also has a Games Room with a pool table and table tennis table.

The bungalow is also fully equipped with television, video, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and all linen.

Immediately around the property is ½ acre of garden. Between this and the adjacent seashore there is a further acre of field. Children can play safely in both of these areas.

'Aite Taimh' benefits from an efficient central heating system, double glazing and insulation to ensure your total comfort indoors no matter what the weather is doing out of doors.
