This secluded location is perfect for the get away holiday to relax and enjoy the immediate surroundings,but also ideally situated as a base for hill walking,sightseeing and touring; 18 miles from Inverness Airport,9 miles from Cawdor Castle open to visitors from May - October,and the conservation village of Cawdor, with it's village shop and post office and tavern;14 miles from Nairn with wonderful sandy beaches,harbour and shops;and 24 miles from the City of Inverness. Aviemore is only half an hour away,a popular winter sports destination. As the cottage is in a rural location we recommend that you have your own transport. Banchor Cottage is beautifully furnished and let from Sunday to Sunday,accommodating six people and consists of a cosy sitting room;dining room both with open fires;fully fitted kitchen (including fridge,freezer,dishwater,microwave,washer/dryer) with dining area;three bedrooms (1 double on ground floor and upstairs 2 twin); downstairs bathroom with shower over bath,basin and toilet and upstairs cloakroom. Linen and towels are provided. Oil central heating throughout with log fires in the sitting and dining rooms. All heating fuels are included in the rental. Garden with outdoor furniture and ample private parking.  Your own transport is essential.  Telephone. Guests are requested not to arrive at the cottage before 4.00pm and to vacate the cottage by 10.00am on the morning of departure,unless alternative arrangements have been made prior to your arrival.
