The Alvie Estate has been the home of the Williamson family since 1927. Although originally atraditionallHighland sporting Estate, the family also has extensive interests in farming and forestry. Both of the recreation and business interests have been developed on the Estate including strawberry growing, a fish hatchery, horse riding, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. The surrounding area also provides several golf courses, skiing, climbing, water sports and gliding.
