The Shepherd's Cottage is set above the shoreline of Loch Eynort on a working hill sheep and beef farm. Wonderful views across the loch to the summit of Cruachan and Kraikinish can be viewed from the cottage and garden. It is the ideal romantic getaway with total seclusion.
The Shepherd's Cottage, which is over 120 years old, has recently been renovated to a high standard and is the ideal romantic Highland Retreat. It is heated throughout by oil fired central heating.
There are two double rooms in the cottage. The master bedroom, with Kingsize Sleigh bed, faces the Loch. It has been revamped with traditional v-lining and oak flooring. All linen and towels are provided.
South Country Cheviot sheep graze the hills and fields behind and around the cottage, while Blackface sheep are run on Kraiknish across the loch. A suckler herd of beef cattle and followers are also reared on the property as well as a Highland Pony stud.
