Elmbank consists of a family bedroom, a twin and a bunk room, and situated in the West Highlands of Scotland in the village of Acharacle,  in the Ardnamurchan and Moidart area known in Gaelic as 'An Garbh Chriochan' ( The Rough Bounds) An area of rugged stunning beauty steeped in the history that shaped modern Scotland. In this area  Bonnie Prince Charlie began his Jacobite rebellion of 1745 to reclaim the crown of Scotland culminating in the bloody defeat at The Battle Of Culloden Moor, it was in this area also that it all ended with his daring escape to France.
