4 lovely self catering cottages set around mature woodland and parkland on 3500 acre estate, offering pitch and putt, croquet and tennis, all on site. All cottages are equipped with facilities required to cater for the family whilst staying with us.
The self-catering apartments, with adjacent car park are situated 100 yards from the hotel and are set around the paved courtyard. They are converted from the Stables, Coach House and coachman's accommodation ancillary to the Mansion House in 1987 and 1990, and now offer fully equipped self-catering accommodation of a high standard.
Most things you should need whilst you are away on holiday are provided, the kitchen being equipped with all the expected necessities plus a microwave oven, washer/dryer and in some, even a dishwasher! Linen and towels are provided. The electricity for each apartment is metered, and is payable on departure.
The Stables is a one bedroom apartment with one large double room with ensuite bathroom and a sitting room with a single sofa bed suitable for a child and second bathroom, a small fully equipped dining kitchen with a table top dishwasher.
The Loose Box is ideal for a family holiday. This apartment has an open-plan kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms - one double bedded room with ensuite shower room and one twin bedded room and a separate bathroom.
The Coach House is a luxurious option for 2 or 3 people having a large sunny sitting room and an open plan kitchen on the ground floor and a triple bedroom (1 double and 1 single) with bath/shower room on the first floor. The views from this south-facing apartment are wonderful.
Carriage House and Mares Nest are the most spacious of the apartments with 3 bedrooms and the option of making the sitting room available to accommodate an extra bed. The apartment has a south-facing views of the surrounding countryside. The ground floor has a large sitting room, which can be converted, into a single bedroom with ensuite bathroom and shower room. There is a well equipped kitchen/dining room with a tabletop dishwasher. The first floor consists of one double bedroom and 2 twin rooms, each with their own private facilities. This apartment is ideal for a family or fishing party.
