Tigh an Eilean is a traditional 350 year old cottage which has been beautifully re-furbished and modernised to provide all the modern day comforts you expect from a 4 star establishment. Quality furnishings add to the individuality of this spacious home which is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, hotels and pubs in Killin as well as the Tourist Office and Folklore Museum.
The cottage is situated within the quaint village of Killin and has stunning, un-interrupted views over the famous Falls of Dochart which flow through the village. The private patio and BBQ are in the lovely 'cottage' garden at the rear which looks out over the fields to the hills and mountains beyond.
Located at the west end of Killin village and within Scotland's first National Park, many walks and level strolls round the head of Loch Tay start from the doorstep. The Sustrans cycle path is just a few yards away and, for the more adventurous, Ben Lawers, the Tarmachan Ridge, Ben More and Stobinien, and the start of many other Munros and Corbetts are literally just a few minutes drive away. Fishing, golf, riding, canoeing, clay pigeon shooting, hunting and watersports are all available nearby.
