FANCY A NIGHT IN A HEATED WOODEN WIGWAM.  WILD AND WONDERFULL
A unique experience in a heated wooden wigwam , come and stay in  Crazy Horse, Raging River, Rainmaker or Wandering Woman all our 18 wigwams have individual indian names .
They are comfortably equipped with foam mattresses and all have electric light and heating.
Each wigwam has its own camp fire , picnic bench and parking area.
 Self catering facilities are available in our communal block with toilets/showers and TV Lounge.
Featured on STV's Scotland To-day, BBC's Landward and Radio Scotland, Strathfillan Wigwams are in the heart of the west highlands between Crianlarich and Tyndrum within the new Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park , surrounded by spectacular views and within easy reach of a number of munro mountains, it is an ideal base for hill-walking , canoeing ,fishing, ski-ing, gold panning or use as a staging post for ventures further north.

TV Lounge/Dining room for up to 30 people
Sleeping Bags, Linen and Towels can also be hired if required
Drying Room

The Site Shop - has all the necessities plus local food and supplies, logs or charcoal, our own lamb, beef and venison for your barbecue.

What is a Wigwam?

Wigwams are  sturdy insulated wooden tents, they are robust and versatile, offering all season spacious, warm, well lit accommodation for up to 4/5 people.

Our wigwams offer a unique and refreshing holiday experience for individuals or groups. Set along the West Highland Way they have proven highly successful with walkers and holiday makers from all around the world.

Your family or group will just love them!  They give you that great feeling of camping outdoors but still provide you with that extra comfort and warmth.

What do they come with?

The Wigwams are comfortably equipped with foam mattresses and each unit has electricity for light, heating and personal electrical equipment.  Bring your own sleeping bags etc, though linen can be hired.

Each wigwam has its own car park and play area, picnic bench and campfire.

Suitable for all ages, individuals, families and groups. Pets welcome too.

The site-shop has all necessities with internet access, local food and supplies, logs, charcoal or peat, our own lamb and beef, local venison and Scottish wild boar.
