The kitchen is fitted with a washing machine, upright fridge-freezer, electric cooker with extractor and microwave oven. Garden furniture is available as is a travel cot. Heating is electric and is separate by arrangement. Bed line is provided. Towels are not. The cottage is set back in the grounds of ½ an acre in the Trossachs adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Forrest and Aberfoyle golf course to the rear. Just one mile from Aberfoyle, the Gateway to the Trossachs, this charming cottage is tucked away in a quiet rural setting in the National Park. The area is steeped in history - both Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument are about half an hour's drive whilst, close by, the Lake of Menteith is the setting for Inchmahome Priory. Wonderful walking, horse riding, cycling and bird watching can be enjoyed from the door with lake fishing at the Port of Menteith.
