Oak Royal Cottage has been completely renovated and moderninsed throughout. We do not allow for pets and smoking is not allowed indoors.

The cottage consists of two double bedrooms,one with triple bunk-bed, a sitting/dining room with corner sofa bed, with TV & video and stereo.

The kitchen is fitted with a washing machine, upright fridge-freezer, electric cooker with extractor and microwave oven.

The bathroom includes fullsize bath, wc and pedestal base sink and the master bedroom has a bathroom ensuite, with built-in shower, wc and pedestal base sink.

Garden furniture is available as is a travel cot. Heating is electric and is separate by arrangement. Bed line is provided. Towels are not.

No pets. No smoking. 

The cottage is set back in the grounds of ½ an acre in the Trossachs adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Forrest and Aberfoyle golf course to the rear.

Just one mile from Aberfoyle, the Gateway to the Trossachs, this charming cottage is tucked away in a quiet rural setting in the National Park.

The area is steeped in history - both Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument are about half an hour's drive whilst, close by, the Lake of Menteith is the setting for Inchmahome Priory. Wonderful walking, horse riding, cycling and bird watching can be enjoyed from the door with lake fishing at the Port of Menteith.

Ben Lomond is just 5 miles, Callandar is 9 miles. Abefoyle offers pubs, shops and cycle hire and the Roby Roy Hotel is just a few minutes walk as is Aberfoyle Golf Course.

The price for cottage rental varies between £200 and £550 per full week, depending on the time of the year
