Relax and Chill out at our small family run park situated in rural Perthshire. Centrally based for Touring and 10 miles from Perth. Set amidst mature trees with open views of Grampians, this makes an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. Fishing less than 0.5 miles away, Golfing 5 miles with a choice of Golf Courses and endless walks in surrounding areas. Places of Interest within Easy Reach: Blairgowrie is the start off point for the 60 miles circular Cateran Trail that follows the historic drove roads used by cattle rustlers many years ago. If this should be a bit too energetic many short walks are available in or around the area. The town also has two 18-hole golf courses and one 9-hole course. Blairgowrie Highland Games are held annually in early September. Blairgowrie has a selection of supermarkets, butcher shops (watch out for the notice board giving you the farm name and area supplying the meat), chemists, coffee shops, hotels, pubs and takeaways. Situated where the rivers Tay and Isla meet we are ideally placed for fishing and canoeing. The hire of a boat and a ghillie can be arranged by contacting Tayside Salmon & Fisheries for daily and weekly rates. Alternatively, daily permits can be obtained from local outlets at a cost of £3 per day. Pitlochry with its dam and Salmon Ladder and Festival Theatre. Glenshee Ski Slopes the chairlift with breathtaking views from the top. Braemar, Balmoral - part of the Estate is open all year for walks. The aircraft Museum at Strathallen; Dunkeld with its Cathedral and the Hermitage. Birnam has the Beatrix Potter garden and exhibition area. Numerous castles including Glamis, Blair Atholl, Balmoral and of course Scone Palace (3 miles from Beech Hedge). Pictish stones and monuments can be found at Coupar Angus and Meigle.
