A former Church - Struan, Calvine near Blair Atholl & Pitlochry, Highland Perthshire. Rural location ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday. Local activities include pony trekking, walking, cycling and canoeing. Dail-ant-Sagairt ('Field of the Priest') was built in 1879 as a small rural Scottish Church. Many of the Church's features, such as the windows, internal woodwork and the bell, were retained when the building was carefully converted into a comfortable family home in 1975. Please note that there is no graveyard on the property. The informal garden extends to almost 1 acre and is an excellent adventure playground for younger children. The peaceful location and variety of local outdoor activities attract both the thrill seekers and those looking for a more relaxed vacation, just contemplating the magnificent scenery or visiting the many local tourist attractions. Perthshire has a legacy of Castles, historical sites and tourist attractions. Blair Castle, owned by the Dukes of Atholl is situated close-by, as is the site of the Battle of Killiecrankie.
