This stone and harled cottage, situated in the heart of beautiful Perthshire, is surrounded by trees and farmland. A quiet, scenic setting midway between Loch Marlee and Loch Clunie, it is an ideal centre for touring, walking, golf, fishing, ornithology and skiing. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area including deer, ospreys and otters.
The cottage is adjacent to Newmill farmhouse and to an old watermill where the mill-lade incorporates an eel trapping system. The cottage has recently been renovated to a high standard including double glazing. It is carpeted throughout and is heated by night storage heaters plus an open fure. Water is heated on off-peak tariff and there is also an immersion heater.
Electricity is payable at the end of the let according to the meter reading. A starter pack of coal and wood is provided and more can be purchased locally.
