Quality holiday cottages for golfing in Perthshire or walking in the Angus Glens. Four luxury self-catering cottages with stunning views, in beautiful, rural, north-east Perthshire. The cottages are named after four of the famous local Angus Glens, all of which are on the doorstep of The Steadings, with Alyth, Blairgowrie and Kirriemuir only a short drive away. These self-catering holiday homes are ideally situated for sight-seeing, walking, fishing, field sports and golfing holidays. There are three local golf courses, Alyth, Glenisla and Strathmore, and over sixty courses within an hours drive, including Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles. Walkers can enjoy the the experience of walking the Cateran Trail, many sections of which are suitable for a single day's walk. Tom and Lorraine Wallace sympathetically converted this traditional Scottish Farm steading and house in 2004 to bring out the beauty of the local Perthshire red sandstone, and each cottage is individually designed to capture the wonderful views. The Steadings sit on the edge of Glen Isla, high above the Vale of Strathmore. The Steadings enjoy stunning panoramic views across fertile farmlands to the Sidlaw Hills which border the eastern edge of the Vale. The cottages are equipped to an exceptionally high standard. Three of the cottages have their own private access into the central courtyard, with garden furniture, water feature and barbecue. Glen Doll has its own furnished, decked terrace.
