This beautiful cottage lovingly known as Clachie is situated by Kirriemuir in Angus, a truly breathtaking corner of Scotland.  We are also within easy access to the Cairngorm National Park.

A visit to Angus offers you the chance to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and feel of this beautiful region on the east coast of Scotland.

Everything is here on your doorstep, from the beauty of coastal estuaries and craggy cliffs, not to mention the sea caves, to the rolling hills and beautiful glens.  

Clachie cottage has a breathtaking location in Glen Clova where, on your doorstep, you can walk and cycle to your own ability, with spectacular views.  Numerous routes for walking and cycling can be found within the Glens and on the cycle routes which take you along the river around Dundee.  Mountain bikes are available at no extra cost at the Cottage.

There are numerous towns to explore in the region - Dundee, Arbroath, Montrose, Carnoustie, Forfar, Brechin and many scenic villages in the area.

For walking holidays, this is an ideal base.  You  are in the middle of the Angus Glens, with Glen Clova being one of the most scenic for hillwalking and you can choose a route at your own pace.

For the Munroe Baggers there are no fewer than 9 to climb and just a few minutes from the property is the Glen Doll car park which would be your start point.
