Eastside Stable has a very large light sitting/dining room that has a maple wood floor and wood burning stove. At one end of this very spacious room, there is an oak wardrobe which conceals a very comfortable, full size double wall bed, as well as ample storage space.

No need to consider extra chores at bed time - this bed is finger tip controlled and folds away fully made up!

The cottage has a wood-burning stove and electric storage heaters, along with an Electric cooker, a Microwave, a Refrigerator, a Freezer and an Automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

In the living area there is a colour TV with a video, a DVD and CD players, WIFI and also a pay phone. For small children there is a cot and high chair that can be supplied.

The price for Eastside Stable varies according to the season with high season from Mid July until the end of August.

Both Short breaks of 3-4 days are considered in the winter months as are long-term rentals.

If more than 2 people stay at Eastside Stable, then there is a charge of £50 per week per extra person.

Dogs are welcome but there is an extra charge of £20 per week per dog allowing for the additional cleaning required.

There are no hidden extras, with Logs and electricity all included in the price as well as bed linen and towels.

Eastside Farm is a 3000 acre working family sheep farm that is run by Alastair and Susan Cowan . It is located in amongst the spectacular hills and scenery of the Pentland Hills Regional Park. The 18th century farm-steading has been imaginatively converted into three individual, character filled cottages that are next to each other around the historical farmyard. Giving stunning views out onto the surrounding hills they combine an old-world rural charm with all the modern conveniences of luxury 21st Century living.

All Eastside Farm Cottages are provided with ample car parking and each has its own delightful private garden bounded by traditional dry-stone walls.

Here you will unwind in a comfortable, spacious home from home in the hills, relax by a blazing log fire and marvel at the magnificent views.

Enjoy all the benefits of fresh air, beautiful surroundings, wildlife and country living but still only a mere 10 minute drive from the City of Edinburgh.

Eastside Byre is entered through a traditional stone archway leading from the farmyard.

A stone flagged corridor leads to the spacious, light, well equipped kitchen dining room that has exposed beams.

Leading off the corridor, there is a utility room with a toilet and a Belfast sink.

Four steps down from the dining area are the 2 bedrooms, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a wash hand basin and a toilet.

There is also a bathroom on this lower level, again complete with a wash hand basin and a toilet.

Returning to the dining room, an ash wood staircase leads to the upstairs sitting room that offers spectacular views.

This is a character filled room that has exposed beams and a stone hearth with wood burning stove.

There is also the option of providing sleeping facilities for 2 extra people up here on a comfortable double sofa bed.

Leading off the entrance corridor is a shower/utility room that also has a toilet.

The spiral staircase, with a hand-crafted wrought iron banister, leads to the upstairs landing, two bedrooms (one twin and one double) and a bathroom, all of which have velux windows giving magnificent views.

There are French Windows that lead into the garden.
