A washer/drier and fridge/freezer are also provided. There is under-floor heating throughout, giving a comfortably uniform temperature.
The owners' house is nearby and they are happy to help in anyway to make your holiday as pleasant and as comfortable as possible.
A 15 minute stroll takes you to a wonderful sandy beach and large dune area. The nearby village of Sandhead has an excellent village shop, church, bowling green, Internet centre, beach area, children's playground and a hotel which does very good meals.
The main town of Stranraer with shops and many amenities is a 10 minute drive. The picturesque harbour at Portpatrick is a 15 minute drive and Drummore and the Mull of Galloway a 25 minute drive.
Within a short distance there are many beautiful gardens, golf courses, beaches and secluded coves.
This corner of Scotland is a wonderful discovery for those who have not yet been here, and for those who have, a place to come back to time and again.
