The Architect designed conversion of the exchange building for 4 self catering holiday apartments for parties of 3 or 4, was completed in 2005. The design is carefully considered, all rooms are imaculate, the fittings and furniture are excellent and the whole ambiance is one of good design, modern, quality fittings. The Old Exchange is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting ....... yet just 1 mile from the wonderful town of Castle Douglas which is known as Dumfries and Galloway's 'Food Town'

The Old Exchange has now teamed up with many local activity providers to offer active breaks, we are also developing yet another holiday cottage which we hope will be available to book in 2007 - we are designing it to be the first '5 star' self catering cottage in Dumfries and Galloway, so we are sure that we offer the best in holiday accommodation in Scotland
